A few words from the artist ...

I am a self-taught artist from East Sussex, England. Situated in a beautiful area on the edge of Ashdown Forest, near the South Downs, my work is often influenced by my surroundings. I am fascinated by the ever-changing colours and moods of nature - especially in the sky. Dramatic skies and cloud formations are a strong feature of many of my paintings.

I specialise in sunsets; sunrises; trees; and abstract landscapes - particularly city skylines. I usually work with oil paints as I love their texture, forgiving flexibility and depth of colour, but have recently started using interactive acrylics.
